Directions to My Office
My office is located in a red brick building at 107 South Fair Oaks Ave. in Old Pasadena. It is south of Green St., at the corner of Dayton.
The front door of the building is usually unlocked weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
If it is locked, press #0034 on the key pad to the left of the door. When I buzz you in, you will hear a faint click. Push the right hand door firmly a couple of times and it will open.
Walk down the hall to the elevator. To the right of the elevator is a board with names on it. Below that is a keypad. Press the code 0034 (same as the front door, but without the # sign). Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. I’m in office 319 (end of the hall on the right).
The street parking is metered—they take dimes, nickels and quarters. The meters on Dayton are cheaper than on Fair Oaks Ave. Meters start at 11 a.m. and the parking police are vigilant.
There are parking lots on either side of the building. Prices vary from $5 to $10. Bring one-dollar bills to push through the slots of the honesty boxes.
There is a multistory parking lot on the northeast corner of Fair Oaks Ave. and Green St., one block north of my office. Enter on Green St. The first 90 minutes are free, after that it’s $2 an hour. When exiting you can pay with cash or credit card.
